Located in the picturesque villages of Kakkur, Nanmanda, and Thalakulathur, Ponkunnu Hills (also known as Pookunnu) stands tall at 1500 feet above sea level. This biodiversity hotspot is often referred to as the ‘Meesapulimala’ of Kozhikode.

Getting There

Ponkunnu Hills is just 22 kilometres away from Kozhikode town. Be prepared for a thrilling trek, as the last half of the journey has to be covered on foot due to the absence of vehicle paths.
